Summary: Zac and Taylor Hanson know who they are. They know what their lives have come to be. And they’re happy. At least, that’s what they’ve been telling everyone, including themselves. Until they’re forced to take a closer look.

God, these two are such emotional people. I ♥ it!!!
And as much as I really want them to meet, I can perfectly understand why the both of them are so hesitant.

But now, questions on the fic and not a comment ;)
1) Why River? For River Phoenix?
2) Why Samuel John?
3) Are you guys writing this actually chatting with each other as the characters?

1) It was the first name to come to him... idk why... i dont think he even know why. Best guess is b/c of his son, but who knows. He doesn't even make the connection with River Phoenix until "Sam" mentions it although he likes the thought.
2) Again, pulled a name out of his ass. A bit less creative than his bro, nice and generic.
3) Glad you asked. Yes, we roleplayed the whole thing, including the real-life scene in chapter 5, as well as all future rl scenes - we then re-wrote it in story form, Bethany writing the parts from Zac's POV, and me writing Tay's parts. The only things we don't RP are the narrations before and after every chat (cuz they're solo). It's a lot of work, but we both love it. And we're SO glad you're loving it too! =^_^=

Why in God's name did I not think of River Hanson.... oops :)!! Must have to do with the fact that I was and still am a huge River Phoenix fan... blond moment there.

Thanks for letting me in on your writing secrets :)!! Love that you guys are actually writing this in character and roleplaying scenes and stuff. Makes it that extra bit more special xx

A little more info on how Zac picked his name... His username, as he mentioned, was picked for his favorite (as I imagine, I don't really know) Lord of the Rings character, Peregrin "Pippin" Took. I think he identifies a lot with Pippin. But of course, Jordan realizes that Pippin is a fake name, so he just grabs the next name he thinks of -- his second favorite LOTR character, Samwise. When Jordan wants a middle name, he just pulls one out of his ass, and it just happens to be his son's first name. And of course, he says Sam is short for Samuel instead of Samwise so that it actually sounds more real.

So yeah, basically he pulled the whole name out of his ass.

Great chapter! Those boys are so blonde though haha. I mean, even if they don't suspect anything (because I mean really, why would you expect, out of all the people in the world, to stumble into a random chatroom where the only other person is someone you're related to), they don't even stop to think for a second like "Hm..I'm dating someone who sounds just like my brother. Weird."
BUT it's kind of cool because I mean, even with the similarities, (like, everyone knows zac loves lotr and cartoons and classic rock and drums), they're still drawn to each other, even if they might vaguely be reminding each other of...each other.

Wow, I don't think that comment made ANY sort of sense. It is late. haha. ANYWAY, can't wait to see what happens with this, and when they finally do meet it is going to be so awesome.
